About the Soul Food Farm CSA

Soul Food Farm CSA was built to create opportunities for farmers and customers. Many small farms have previously sold primarily to restaurants, but with Covid-19 many of their accounts have closed. The Soul Food Farm CSA is a collection of farmers, ranchers, and food producers working together to build a bridge between food in the field and people looking for organic, clean, and healthy food.

We are passionate about connecting our local food producers to the public and creating a vehicle for nutrient-dense food to get out into the community. And excited to join with others in the Bay Area in this effort to stay connected and build creative new solutions to food access.

The Soul Food Farm CSA is a bit nontraditional. There is no membership or upfront fee. We open orders weekly so you can choose what you want. Each week we go live Saturday at 10 a.m. and take all sales until Wednesdays at 5 p.m. At 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, we close the week’s sales and prepare orders and pickups for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday pickups are at Soul Food Farm and Sundays pickups in Berkeley
